Just once in a while, we open our viewing platform after dark for an exclusive peak at the lights of London. Our next After Dark Opening is on Saturday 7 November. 

If you’ve only seen the Severndroog Castle view in daylight, you are in for a treat! It is a real wow moment when the lights of London open up below you from the viewing platform. #

Tickets go on sale at 8am on Saturday 5 September. Tickets cost £7.50 including booking fee

Tickets are for 20 minute timeslots, in groups of up to 10 people at a time on the platform. Please check your time carefully when booking, as space on the roof is very limited and we will be unable to admit you before or after your booked time. Access to the roof is via spiral staircase, there is no lift at Severndroog Castle.

These rare nights usually sell out quickly, so don’t delay. This is an indoor/outdoor event, our viewing platform on the roof is open to the element. Severndroog events go ahead in almost all weather, so come prepared and wrap up warm!

And after you’ve been to the roof, why not stop by the Tea Room for a hot chocolate and a seasonal treat to warm yourself back up. We take pride in stocking the Tea Room from local small businesses including Drury Coffee, Heaps sausage rolls and Ginger Spiced cakes. Every pound spent in the Tea Room helps keep the doors open for the community.

To ensure our beautiful woods come to no harm, strictly no fireworks or sparklers should be lit anywhere in the woods; please do not bring sparklers to this event.

Do bring a torch for travel through the woods as pathways are unlit.

Dogs are not permitted at ticketed events at Severndroog Castle, assistance dogs excepted. Please get in touch if you are bringing an assistance dog to the performance, so we can support your visit.
