March Producers’ Market
The bluebells should be out in the woods when the monthly Producers’ Market comes to Severndroog Castle on Sunday 1 March, a great time to extend your visit with a walk through Oxleas Woodlands.
The monthly market in the grounds around Severndroog Castle is an opportunity to explore stalls from local small businesses and pick up your artisan cheeses, bread, gourmet sausages and veggies. Check out the work of local artists and makers and support Greenwich small enterprises. The market is free to enter, no need to book.
Please Note: There is no market in April (Easter Sunday), it will be back on Sunday 3 May.
How to find us Plan Your Visit | Severndroog Castle
Travel: there is a small car park run by the Royal Borough of Greenwich around 200m from the market site. Use SE18 3RU or What3Words drop.kicked.less to locate the car park from Shooters Hill A207. As this gets very busy on market days, we encourage you to travel by bus or bike – there are bike racks close to the Castle and you are welcome to chain your bike inside the Castle railings.
Buses: Memorial Hospital Stop – 89, 244 & 486. Well Hall Road/Broadwark: 122, 161
Dogs: well-behaved dogs on a lead are very welcome at the market and the Severndroog Tea Room. Dogs are not permitted upstairs in Severndroog Castle, including the viewing platform.
