To accompany ‘Keys to the Castle’ a solo exhibition from Himani J Weir, join us upstairs in Severndroog Castle for this workshop.
C18th Costumed Life Drawing
As a part of the ‘Keys to the Castle exhibition’ by Himani J Weir, we invite you to a drawing class within the unique setting of this C18th Gothic folly. Models in period costume will pose, while you draw and help you to step back in time to meet Lady James and her friends.
Open to both complete beginners and experienced artists, practice your drawing skills and have fun in a friendly class.
*Jessica Bull is the author of the critically acclaimed ‘Jane Austen Investigates’ murder mystery series. Not only a talented writer, Jessica makes her own C18th costumes! Jessica will wear her work alongside the talented actor and model Funmi Olowe, bringing Severndroog to life!
Himani is an artist and educator and will be on hand to guide you. She will begin with an introduction about her work and Jessica will tell you some interesting facts about the Georgian clothing she makes and their historical links to India.

*Jessica will be on hand to sign copies of her novels for those interested in purchasing copies.
