SUMMARY:Poetry &amp\; Spoken Word Open Mic Night with Greenwich Libraries
DESCRIPTION:Calling all writers and poets\, we need you! Are you interested
  in sharing your poetry with others? Looking for inspiration for poems of y
 our own? Want a fun night out full of wordy\, nerdy goodness?\nFor a final 
 time this summer\, Eltham Library's team will takeover the courtyard at Sev
 erndroog and bring their regular monthly open mic evening to the Castle!\nF
 riday 21st August.\nGate open & sign up at 6pm\; Performances start at 6.30
 pm\nArrive early to toss your name in the hat for open mic slots. The Sever
 ndroog Tea Room will be open selling teas\, coffees\, cold snacks and wine 
 - and offering top ups for your water bottles.\nTickets are free\, but adva
 nce booking is essential.\n \nWhat participants said about previous Open M
 ic evenings in the Castle  courtyard: "My first time in the audience reall
 y enjoyed all the poets! Thanks!"\, "Beautiful ❤ really good\, I will com
 e again\, thank you so much for hosting a fabulous event we loved it!"\, "L

 ree parking facilities available at the nearby Castle Wood public car park\
 ; it will remain open for the duration of this event. Use SE18 3RU or What3

  is an outdoor event and will go ahead in almost all weathers\, so please 
 dress for the weather.\nDogs are not permitted at ticketed events at Sever
 ndroog Castle\, assistance dogs excepted. Please get in touch if you are br
 inging an assistance dog to the performance\, so we can support your visit.
 \nBy supporting events like this\, you are personally helping to keep our c
 astle open for the community to enjoy. Severndroog Castle is a small\, inde
 pendent charity which receives no regular funding\, with every pound spent 
 in the Tea Room we can continue to maintain and conserve the Castle for the
  generations to come.\n\n\n
