SUMMARY:Bank Holiday Roof Opening with Safe Sunspot Viewing
DESCRIPTION:The sun is forecast to shine for Bank Holiday Monday (25th May)
  and\, in the event of a sunny day\, we will have a special opportunity for
  you. A couple of friends of the Castle will be bringing specialist solar e
 quipment to the viewing platform. They will be offering visitors the opport
 unity for safe and fascinating view of the sun\, including sunspots and oth
 er solar features.\nAge 12+\nThe astronomers will be there from 12:30pm unt
 il 4:00pm (last admission 3:45pm)\, weather conditions permitting - check b
 ack on the website or our social media on Monday morning for the latest new
 s. No advance booking\, tickets £5 from the Tea Room counter on the ground
  floor of the Castle\; some queueing may occur at busy times.\nFree parking
  facilities available at the nearby Castle Wood Car Park\; it will remain o
 pen for the duration \nDogs are not permitted at upstairs at Severndroog C
 astle\, assistance dogs excepted. Please get in touch if you are bringing a
 n assistance dog\, so we can support your visit. \n \nBy supporting event
 s like this\, you are personally helping to keep our Castle open for the co
 mmunity to enjoy. Severndroog Castle is a small\, independent charity which
  receives no regular funding\, these events and your generosity mean we can
  continue to maintain and conserve the castle for the generations to come.
